Initially designed for a "Block Exhibition/ 16-30 October 2007", the inspiration for the organic form of this table came from the pebbles on the beach, and the natural process of sea waves polishing them into rounded corners. Pebble in Marble is an oversized, sculptural table that forces the limits of the raw material that it is made of – Afyon violet marble, and though natural in form and material, its manufacturing demands the latest technology.
